Your Health History
Firstly you will fill out some basic paperwork regarding your health history. You will then meet your chiropractor and a full case history will be taken. You will be asked to complete a patient consent form, whilst we understand paperwork can be irritating, we appreciate your cooperation in these legal and regulatory requirements.
Physical Examination
A thorough physical examination including orthopaedic and neurological tests will follow so that the chiropractor can assess the neuromusculoskeletal system (nerves, muscles, and joints).
Further Examinations
Should it be required – examination of the abdomen, cardiovascular, or respiratory systems may also be carried out.
Care Plan
You will be given either a soft tissue massage treatment or a full chiropractic adjustment depending on the type of initial session booked.
Results & Report
The chiropractor will then study the results, make a diagnosis and then in accordance with regulatory guidelines give you a complete report of findings (first or second visit).
Appointment Time
Normally we will need to see you for up to 40 minutes to assess one condition/area. May take longer for multiple conditions.
Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment to allow time to complete administration formalities and if possible please print and fill out the New Patient form and bring along to your first consultation.
